Severo "Meo" Victorino

Severo "Meo" Victorino passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, at the age of 62, surrounded by the love and presence of his family. Meo shared 40 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Nimfa, and built a lifetime of love and memories with her and their family.

Before immigrating to the United States, Meo and his wife, Nimfa, ran their family business in their hometown back in the Philippines. Meo appreciated the simple things in life, especially time spent with family and friends. He loved cooking meals that brought everyone together and sharing stories with his family and friends. He treated everyone around him like family and welcomed people with warmth. He not only cared deeply about people, but also about animals, often rescuing stray dogs and giving them a home. He stayed true to his values and focused on what brought happiness to him and the people he loved. He was always willing to help and had a natural way of turning friends into family and keeping lifelong friendships. He found joy in simply being with the people he loved.

Meo will be remembered as a man of strong values and a generous heart, and his quiet strength will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, six children, seven grandchildren, seven siblings, and extended family and friends. He also leaves behind his beloved companions, Jack, Barbie, and Bora, who brought him endless comfort and joy.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Rd, Uncasville. A Funeral Mass will take place the following day, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 10 am at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer, 69 Groton Long Point Rd., Groton, CT 06340. Burial will be at Elm Grove
