Geraldine Ruth Wolf

Geraldine Ruth Wolf, age 85, of Grass Lake, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026. She was born on April 3, 1940, in Dearborn, to her parents, the late Michael and Ruth Steiner.

Geraldine was a very caring and loving person who touched the lives of many. She was an adamant jogger, faithfully running five to ten miles a day well into her later years.

An extraordinary animal lover, Geraldine devoted much of her life to caring for dogs, often taking in strays and at times caring for as many as sixteen at once. Her dogs were her children, and she gave them unconditional love, patience, and devotion.

Geraldine was always friendly and thoughtful, faithfully keeping in touch with family and friends through cards and phone calls. She treasured her daily coffee outings with her coffee group friends at McDonald's, where laughter and companionship were always on the menu.

She is survived by her nephews, John (Patricia) Steiner and Norman Wolf Jr.; and niece, Joan Wolf.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Wolf; her brother, Larry Steiner; and her parents.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Lauer Family Funeral Home in Jackson, Michigan with a time and place to be determined. Her remains will eventually be placed beside her husband at Northview Cemetery in Dearborn, Michigan.
