Gerard Farrell Obituary
Born in Irwin, PA and raised in Blairsville, PA, Gerry graduated from Blairsville High School in 1968. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Drexel University in 1973 and later his J.D. from Villanova University.
Gerry built a distinguished career as a Bond Attorney and Investment Banker, working with several firms throughout Philadelphia. He retired in 2019.
Gerry was a member of Holy Angels Parish (St. Patrick Church). Beyond his professional and community life, Gerry found great joy in model trains. He was an avid collector and operator, as well as a dedicated member and former treasurer of the Cherry Valley Train Club.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda M. (Petrini) Farrell, his sons Andrew Leo Farrell and his wife Lingyan Liu, Alexander James Farrell and his wife Jessica Stallone, grandchildren Leo, Owen and Eliana Farrell, and his sisters Ann (Ed) Frantz, Mary Bateman, and Grace (Larry) Rohrer.
Friends may greet the family on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 8:30-10:00 a.m. at Budd Funeral Home, 522 Salem Avenue, Woodbury, NJ. Funeral mass will be on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Angels Parish (St. Patrick Church), 86 Cooper Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
