Geri Beth (Malarkey) Applegate, passed away on August 6, 2024. She was born on January 13, 1961 in Grandview Heights, Ohio. Geri graduated high school in 1979 and raised by Martha and Allen Malarkey in a Christian home with Christian values and beliefs. Geri was caring, supportive and generous to anyone who knew her. A devoted mother to Jason, Kara and Emily, a loving grandmother to Jordan and Kaylee and another grandchild Elijah is expected next month. She worked for several years in the HVAC industry, was employed for the past 12 years in the law firm, her sister Jane is employed by. This was a position which she loved from the very first day. She is pre-deceased by parents Martha and Allen Malarkey, ex-husband and father of Jason, Kara and Emily, Harry Reed. Also is survived by sister Jane Beavers and Geri's 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Her children were the center of her world. Her love for them is a memory they will always carry with them. Her services are being handled by Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 11:30am until time of service at 1:00pm.
