Throughout his career as a mason, Gerome owned his own masonry company, where he showcased an extraordinary talent for building and creating. He took immense pride in his work, mastering the ability to construct anything with remarkable skill and precision. His dedication and craftsmanship left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to witness his projects.

Gerome was known for his generous spirit and his willingness to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. Gerome's funeral service will take place on December 6, 2025, at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Wilmer, Texas, beginning at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held prior to the service on December 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas.
