Gerry "Bo" Foster

Gerry "Bo" Foster, 77, of Newark, returned to sender on August 12, 2025. He was born on September 14, 1949, in Craighead County, to Jeff and Monteen (Walls) Foster. Bo was known for his incredible sense of humor and generosity. He loved to make others laugh with his jokes and unforgettable stories from the past. There was never a dull moment in his presence. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, taking spontaneous road trips, and surprising friends and family with unannounced visits. When he wasn't telling stories, Bo could often be found wheeling and dealing-trading horses for boats, cars for bikes-you never quite knew what he would bring home. He had a gift for fixing and building things, with an ingenuity matched only by his curiosity to take them apart. Bo is survived by his children, Sheri of Wisconsin, Jennifer of Maui, Jeffrey of California, and Josh of Arkansas. He also leaves behind six granddaughters, two grandsons, and five great-granddaughters. In addition, he is survived by his brothers Carlin, Rick, Vic, and Randy Foster; his sisters Imogene, Brenda, Paulette, Beverly, and Pamela; and his best friend, Ace. He will be remembered for his laughter, his adventurous spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends. Services are pending. Arrangements were entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Bradford.
