Unfortunately I didn't know Gerry personally, but as a fellow Marine I wanted to pass on my condolences to Amy and their family. I served in the Marine Corps from 1970 to 1974. Like Gerry, I subsequently entered another armed service, retiring from The U. S. Air Force in 2005. But, there is a special bond among all Marines. Don't know if I'll make it to Heaven, but if I do I'm sure I will see (Gerry), as the Marine Corps Hymn says, if the Army and the Navy every look on Heavens scene, they will find
the streets are guarded by (Gerry) United States Marines. Semper Fi Gerry! Rod Turner, USMC 1970-1974
