Trudy Campbell 78 years old born in Huntington New York May 3rd, 1946, passed away in Jacksonville North Carolina February 22, 2025.
She was born #6 of 11 born to James and Rose Zuzierla. Children, Matthew Eddington Bonzera, Harold "Roger" Eddington Jr, David Wayne Eddington, John David Campbell Jr. 7 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Trudy was a devoted mother that has always put her children before her own needs. She married twice, to Harold Eddington Sr, and John Campbell Sr. Trudy. She was a recognized Majorette, leading many parades to include presidential elect John F. Kennedy in NYC. Trudy as a beautiful young woman participated as a trophy girl at the conclusion of several auto races.
Raising 4 boys in her early years in California, time and satisfaction came from ensuring growth and development of her children committing to baseball practices and games, as well as BMX racing and other sporting events outside regular school time. A need and desire to be closer to her mom and dad and the rest of her family, in the late 70s Trudy moved back to Long Island and continued to work and raise the boys, who are now introduced to 32 additional cousins. Trudy was always at home when she was around her children and found herself in North Carolina where she continued to enjoy her kids and grandchildren until her passing.
