Gertrude Guidry Obituary
Gertrude Guidry, 90, a native of Galliano and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Galliano, on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
Gertrude is survived by her son, Jeffery Guidry (Tonia); grandchildren, Corey Guidry (Stephanie), Kyle Guidry (Gabby), Blake Foret; great-grandchildren, Vincent, Vivian and Thomas Guidry; brother, Bruce Kiger; sisters, Anita Naquin and Janet Hebert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Velton Guidry; son, Leonard Miller, Jr.; great-grandson, Wyatt Thomas Guidry; parents, Joseph and Stella Billiot Kiger; brothers, George, Freddie and Linwood Kiger and sister, Mae Sevin.
