Gertrude M. Kropidlowski (nee Oswald), passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Ben. Loving mom of Dennis (Kathy), Mike (Barb), and Susan (Paul) Miller. Loving grandma and great grandma of many. Dear aunt of Robert Selerski. Further survived by other loved relatives and friends.
Gertrude was well known for her passion for baking, delighting family and friends with her homemade treats. Her love for beagles was evident in the way she cared for and pampered them throughout the years. In addition to her devotion to her pets and culinary skills, Gertrude dedicated many years of service as a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee, making a meaningful impact on the lives of those she helped.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (3722 S. 58th St,. Milwaukee) on Tuesday, January 13 from 9:30-10:45AM with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Interment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.
