Gertrude Tillett, 93, of Titusville, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Gertrude was born in Union City, NJ, and lived a life full of dedication and love. In her younger years, she served as a secretary at the Pentagon, contributing to the vital work of her time. Later in life, she found joy and comfort in her hobbies, especially crocheting, which she shared with those she loved. A devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Titusville, Gertrude was deeply involved in her community and found great fulfillment in her faith. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering commitment to her family and church will always be remembered. Gertrude was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, Walter, and her son, John. She is survived by her loving children, Skip Tillett (Susan), Mark Tillett (Kim), Paul Tillett (Nancy), and daughter Cindy Tillett. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Becca, Hannah, Sean, Sierra and Kenen, as well as five great-grandchildren who brought her much joy. Gertrude's family will forever remember her grace, her love for life, and her devotion to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration of Gertrude's life will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at 11 am on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
