Linda Carroll Gray, a cherished matriarch and beacon of warmth in her community, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, in Titusville, Florida. Born on September 29, 1942, in Berlin, Maryland, Linda's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and joyful moments that touched the hearts of many.

Linda's journey began as the beloved daughter of Frank J. and Margaret M. (Truitt) Rocker. Her early years in Berlin were filled with the simple pleasures of small-town life, which laid the foundation for her lifelong appreciation of family and community. Linda's devotion to her family was evident in her enduring love for her late husband, Meloy R. Gray Sr., with whom she shared 53 blissful years of marriage until his passing in 2014. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings Robert Rocker, Sylvia Fleshman, and Doris Rocker.

Linda's legacy continues through her loving children, Carol D. Poole (Gerald), Pamela H. Griffith (David), Meloy R. Gray Jr., and Christopher D. Gray (Amy). She was a guiding star for her seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstones upon which her family thrived. She is also survived by her brother John Rocker.

Throughout her life, Linda's professional journey in retail sales was marked by her genuine care for others and her innate ability to connect with people. Her colleagues and customers alike were drawn to her charismatic personality and her knack for making everyone feel valued and appreciated.

Linda's zest for life extended beyond her professional endeavors. She was an avid camper, finding solace and adventure in the great outdoors. Her passion for gold mining was not just a hobby but a reflection of her curious and exploratory nature. Linda's love for cooking was an expression of her love for others, as she believed in the power of a home-cooked meal to bring people together. In quieter moments, Linda could be found immersed in a good book, traveling through stories and expanding her horizons from the comfort of her home.

As we bid farewell to Linda Carroll Gray, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a legacy of love, kindness, and spirited adventure that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her memory will be treasured in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Linda's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and the beauty of a life well-lived. Her light, though no longer with us in body, will continue to shine brightly in the memories and stories that will be passed down through generations.
