Linda Carroll Gray, a cherished matriarch and beacon of warmth in her community, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, in
Titusville, Florida. Born on September 29, 1942, in Berlin, Maryland, Linda's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and joyful moments that touched the hearts of many.
Linda's journey began as the beloved daughter of Frank J. and Margaret M. (Truitt) Rocker. Her early years in Berlin were filled with the simple pleasures of small-town life, which laid the foundation for her lifelong appreciation of family and community. Linda's devotion to her family was evident in her enduring love for her late husband, Meloy R. Gray Sr., with whom she shared 53 blissful years of marriage until his passing in 2014. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings Robert Rocker, Sylvia Fleshman, and Doris Rocker.
Linda's legacy continues through her loving children, Carol D. Poole (Gerald), Pamela H. Griffith (David), Meloy R. Gray Jr., and Christopher D. Gray (Amy). She was a guiding star for her seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstones upon which her family thrived. She is also survived by her brother John Rocker.
Throughout her life, Linda's professional journey in retail sales was marked by her genuine care for others and her innate ability to connect with people. Her colleagues and customers alike were drawn to her charismatic personality and her knack for making everyone feel valued and appreciated.
