Mckenzie "Cheese" Lynn Jones

The world got a little dimmer on November 5, 2025, when Mckenzie Lynn Jones - known by those who loved her most as "Cheese" - left us at just 22 years young.

Cheese wasn't someone you could ever forget. She was bold, headstrong, loud in the best way, and absolutely unapologetically herself. Her laughter was contagious - the kind that made everyone else laugh even if they didn't know what was funny. She was always smiling, always the life of the party, and always the first to turn an ordinary moment into something unforgettable.

If you knew Cheese, you knew her love for riding her motorcycle, cooking up something delicious, and hanging out at kava bars, where she'd cheer "BULA!" with friends. She loved the color purple, could talk anime for hours, and never missed an episode of Arcane. Her signature sayings - "Period.", "THAT part.", "Womp Womp.", and her iconic "SHOT O'CLOCK!" - will live on forever in the memories of those who heard them (which was pretty much everyone she met).

She graduated from Breckenridge County High School and worked as a receptionist at Psychiatry of Palm Beaches, where she greeted people with the same bright energy she brought everywhere else. Cheese was also a proud student at Eastern Florida State College, chasing her dream of becoming a language translator - because she loved connecting with people and believed in understanding others deeply.

Cheese treasured her friendships, her kava community, and most of all, her family. She leaves behind her mother, Joy Jones; her sisters, Ariel and Sophia Jones; her brothers, J.R. Franklin and Jayden Roland; and her stepdad, Michael Franklin. Her fur babies - Crackhead the cat (better known as Rat), Chip, and Odie - will miss her snuggles and silliness every day.

She also leaves behind an incredible circle of loved ones who were more like family: Karina Maldonado, Ricardo Solis, Dayana Demarchena, Marco Anello, Corbin Monque, Everett Wong, Isabella Nesmeth, Zeke Dugan, and Cid Godold.

Cheese lived life loud, full of color, laughter, and love. She was fiercely loyal, endlessly funny, and always the first to show up for the people she cared about. Her time here was far too short, but her impact - the memories, the laughter, and the love she spread - will last forever.

A Celebration of Life for Mckenzie "Cheese" Lynn Jones will be held on Tuesday, November 18th at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to come together to share stories, laughter, and love as we honor her beautiful spirit.

So raise a glass, say "SHOT O'CLOCK," and remember her exactly as she was - smiling, laughing, and unapologetically Cheese.
