Ghazi Maya Obituary
With deep sorrow and unwavering faith, we share the passing of Ghazi Maya, who was called home to the Lord on December 22, 2025. He lived a life rooted in love, service, and trust in God's promises. Though deeply missed, we find comfort knowing he now rests in eternal peace.
Ghazi was the cherished husband of the Najiba Haisha Maya and the beloved son of Zia Yousif Maya and Naima Shamoon Garmo. He was the eldest of 9 siblings, and a devoted brother to Sabah Maya, the late Violet Daya, the late Georgette Ganni, the late Yousif Maya, Sayb Maya, the late Fawzi Maya, Najah Maya and Amer Maya.
He was the heart and foundation of his home, a loving and devoted father to: Huda (Albert) Bajjoka, Hilda (Feris) Seba, Rafid Maya, Hadil (Salvatore) Messina,
He leaves behind a remarkable legacy as a grandfather to 6 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 16 great-grandchildren, each one a testament to the love he poured into the world.
His generosity, kindness, and humility, along with his gentle spirit and quiet strength, will be forever cherished by all who had the honor of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those he leaves behind, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.
