Ghazi has been my brother's buddy since college. I met him at my brother's apartment in Daytona Beach years ago. My brother and I had the first New Year's Eve in his place. I made Tabbouleh salad, and I remember Ghazi loving it so much that he drank its juice. Ghazi's Zahle accent was unique. Being from Beirut, I used to tease him about it every time I saw him. He reacted with a beautiful smile. Ghazi was a friendly, caring, generous, and loyal person.
On one occasion, my brother and I visited Ghazi at his Jewelry store. I asked him about a jewelry box he had. To my surprise, he gave me the box as a gift, which I still have. Our hearts go out to Leigh, Ghazi's children, and family for his loss. I hope your happy memories of Ghazi will help you through this difficult time. May you find peace and comfort as you remember Ghazi.
Dania Bilal, on behalf of Bilal's family, please note that Toufic, my brother and Ghazi's best friend, doesn't know about his passing.

My mom and dad were long time friends of Ghazi. After my father passed my mom needed to sell some jewelry and Ghazi was so generous to her, so sympathetic. His kindness had a very positive impact on my mom who was having a hard time of it. God bless the Osta family, not just in helping to heal from such a profound loss, but in all your endeavors.

I went to his place of business around nine months ago to sell some jewelry which we transacted in about ten minutes. I had never met Ghazi before and we then spent the next two hours just talking about our families and life in general. Definitely a tremendous business man who was proud of his family and who could definitely make a person feel better about their self.
