William N. Gambert, 75, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on January 25, 1951 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to Anthony and Mary Gambert. He moved to the Daytona Beach area as a young child after his father retired from the Navy. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes and Father Lopez before moving to Gainesville, Florida for his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Florida. He moved back to Daytona Beach to start his career as an attorney, which he practiced for nearly 50 years. Bill cherished time with his family and friends and never turned down an opportunity to spend time with them. He also loved watching and cheering on the Florida Gator football and basketball teams.

Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife, Susan S. Gambert, whom he was married to for 47 years. They had two children, Ryan Gambert (Amanda) and Julianne Montgomery (Wyatt) and three granddaughters, Olivia, Emma and Perry.
There will be a Mass on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 11am at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church located at 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach 32176.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
