Gil Young, II Obituary
Gil Ladd Young II, known by many as "Bump", passed away at the age of 56 on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. He was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on September 23, 1967. Gil was a beloved father, brother, papa, uncle and friend to many. Known for his humor and remarkable talents, he touched the lives of those around him with his warmth and smile. His passions included playing softball and golf, and he cherished the moments with his family. Gil's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by the love of his life Jennifer Herrick, daughter Jaime Herrick, son Gil Ladd Young III, son Carter Thomas, sister Shonna (Dan) Busick, brother Brian (Tonia) Young, cousin Rahjah Stahlhood, mother-in-law Mary Jo Marick, and 7 beloved grandchildren. A celebration of Gil's life will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Squirrel Hollow Golf Course, 12111 Helmer Road S, Battle Creek. Arrangements by the Richard A.
