Gilbert Tyrone Frierson, 54, affectionately known as "Soul", "T", and "Already", returned to his heavenly home on July 3, 2025. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in illness, allowing him to transition peacefully.
Tyrone was born to Valerie Thomas of Miami, Florida, and the late Gilbert J. Frierson on February 11, 1971. He began his education at Francis S. Tucker Elementary and advanced through the Miami-Dade County Public School System, eventually obtaining his GED.
Over the years, Tyrone was employed by the City of
Miami, but it was his love for cooking, his passion for community, and his undying love for his family that ultimately brought him the most joy.
Tyrone was known for his "larger than life personality
," his infectious laugh, and of course his favorite sayings "Already Already, We on that and You better believe it". He was the absolute "Life of the Party". He always had time to answer a question or solve a problem, no matter how small. His loved ones celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator, and he will be missed.
Tyrone was blessed with a large and loving family. Preceded in death by his younger sister, Yolanda Thomas, Grandmother Dorthy Rogers and aunt, Marilyn Rogers.
He leaves behind to cherish his three beautiful children: Sons, Jason Tyrone Frierson, Gilbert Frierson, and a loving daughter Arias Austin. His granddaughters: Jaliyah Frierson and Kyla Brown. Siblings: Latonya Hamm, Sheena Lee, Darius Rogers, Santana Rogers and Katrina Stukes. Nieces and nephews: Levi, Trelonda, Denikiqua, Dashia, Denzil, Mezhia, Jayden, Damyiah, Bernard, Santana Jr, Ahmad, and Jayceon, Leah, Khalil, Jhair,
