Gilbert Garcia was born on June 10, 1970, in Waurika, OK, to Jesusa Laguna Garcia & Gilberto Garcia. Gilbert gained his wings on September 29, 2025, in Marlow, OK. A proud Oklahoman throughout his life, Gilbert was known to those around him as a Happy and helpful presence. His warmth and generosity lift a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Gilbert found joy in the simple pleasures of life-especially fishing and spending time with family. Whether casting a line on a quiet afternoon or gathering with loved ones for celebrations and shared meals. He cherished these moments deeply. His love for family was evident in the way he showed up for others and created lasting memories through togetherness. Gilbert was a man of faith. He practiced his beliefs within the Catholic tradition, drawing strength and comfort from his spirituality throughout his life. Gilbert is lovingly remembered by his father, Gilberto Garcia; sisters: Otilia Pardo, Lupe Madrigal, Mary Garcia, and Felipa Garcia. Brother, Joe Garcia. Children: Adriana Garcia, Cynthia Garcia, Chris Garcia, Rico Garcia, and Kayla Garcia, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and uncle. Grandchildren who will carry forth his memories: Isaac, Ava, Eleeana, Jaxson, Kameron, JJ, and Eli. He was preceded in death by his mother Jesusa Laguna Garcia; Nephew, Daniel Garcia, many uncles & aunts.
