________________________________________ Obituary Marilyn K. Cheadle entered eternal rest on September 10, 2025, at the age of 63. Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved grandmothers Gearldine "Big Moma" Williams and Myrtle "Granny Myrt" Williams; her grandfathers Harold D. Pittman and Robert "Woody" Williams; her siblings Michael "Cricket" Williams, Martin "TJ" Jackson, and Robert "Lucky" Williams; and her former husband and lifelong friend, Jeffrey Cheadle. Marilyn graduated from Douglas High School in 1980, where she proudly played basketball. She later became a faithful member of Divine Wisdom Worship Center, under the leadership of Pastor Theodis Manning Sr., her brother-in-law. She loved singing in the choir, even if she didn't always make it to choir practice-something her family and friends still laugh about today. Known for her warm heart and generous spirit, Marilyn was the type of person who gave without hesitation. If she had it and you needed it, it was yours. She loved playing games on her phone, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. With her infectious laugh and joyful personality, she was always the life of the party. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Patricia A. Pittman; sisters Felicia (Theodis) Manning and LaSonya Pittman Talley; her children Cori Cole, Tasha Sellers, Veauntray (April) Williams, and Jerome (Tiffany) Cheadle; as well as countless family members and friends whose lives she touched. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy Lord." - Matthew 25:21
