Gilbert “Gil” Ledesma, age 67, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 09, 2024, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Gilbert is preceded in death by his father Gilberto Ledesma Sr. and his brother; Dick Ledesma. Gilbert is survived by his loving mother; Maria Loreta Ledesma, his beautiful wife; Penny Marie Ledesma, his adoring children; Anthony Ledesma (Alejandra), Jessica Paz (Charlie), step-children; John Hain (Carla), Stephanie Hain (Tommy), and Brianna Sexton (Josiah) his dearest siblings; Ernest “Ernie” Ledesma, George Ledesma (Norma), Gabriel “Gabe” Ledesma (Josie) and his sister-in-law Cindy Ledesma (Dick †), and his 7 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor his memory.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm with a Scripture Service at 2:00pm at Sunset Funeral Homes-West. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-West, 480 N. Resler Drive. Please visit his online memorial at www.susnetfuneralhomes.net.
