Gilbert Hull Obituary
Gil was born in Indiana, Pa, on September 12, 1932 a son of the late Martin Silas and Nancy (Adams) Hull.
He graduated from Indiana High School and went on to serve our country in the US Army. He was self-employed in the home construction and remodeling industry. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and gardening. Gil was a member of The American Legion Post 773, and was the previous Chief, and President of the Lake Shore Fire Department.
In addition to his parents, Gil is preceded in death by his siblings, Iva, Ralph, Lila and Warren.
Gil is survived by his wife Joan D (Haines) Hull who he married in 1954 and his children Teresa (Randy) Detzel of Meadville, Karen (Mark) Hill of Myrtle Beach and Jeffrey (Brenda) Hull of Erie. He is further survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. He is further survived by his sister Gladys Blazavich of Indiana, PA Ada (Donald) Frederick of Coral, PA, Harry Hull of Clymer, PA and Twila (Joseph) Nagg of Erie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Erie Shriners Hospital for Children Activity Fund 1645 W 8th St, Erie, PA 16505
Family and friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. West Ridge 3801 W. Ridge Road, Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 5:00 p.m.
