Gilbert Frank Leija

Gilbert Frank Leija age 61 of Wichita Falls, Tx died Monday, March 24th, 2025 at his home in Wichita Falls. Gilbert was born on February 9th, 1964 to Roy and Sophia Leija. He attended Hirschi Highschool, where he made life long friends that will miss him dearly. He was known for his contagious laugh, his love for playing the drums to bands like Boston, making the best BBQ ribs, and having the greenest grass on the block. He was best known for being an amazing dad to his daughter Brittany who was his whole world, as well as loving his grandchildren and being the best G-PA he could be. He always made friends, family, and even strangers laugh everywhere he went. Gilbert is survived by his daughter Brittany Shanell Leija, her life partner Thomas Joe Lopez, and his grandchildren Andrea Lopez, Janie Lopez, Harmony Lopez, and Neko Lopez.
A memorial service will be held for him on Saturday April 5th, 2025 at The Rock Worship Center (2900 Lawrence Rd, Wichita Falls,TX) With Pastor Ruben Sauceda officiating. Memorial service will begin at 11AM.
