Gilbert Lozano Navarro was born in Harlingen, Texas on November 6, 1934. He went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2024, at the age of 89. (He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.) He believed he would be united with his loved ones and will not be disabled anymore. He was disabled for 36 years due to a bad incident. With family support and provider help, Dad had a big impact in our family. He never gave up on life. He even was running his roofing company in his 80's. He couldn't do just nothing. Dad had a lot of love for family and friends. Sometimes he would do someone's roof job for free because he knew they didn't have funds to replace it but would be quiet about it. The family inherited that work ethic that he possessed that you be honest, keep your word and always do your best. There are a lot of examples in our family of success. Family that would come over for advice would say he encouraged them to go to the next level of success. Dad always wanted to help whoever came over to see him. He would ask if you needed money because he cared about family and friends. He was just that type of person. Preceded Dad in death are his wife Maria Elena (De Leon) Navarro, his parents Alberto Navarro and Conrada Lozano Navarro, and his brother Pablo Rocha Navarro. Albert Navarro and Sandra Medrano (his children), Abdon Navarro and Adrew Fernandez (his grandsons), and Jynette Navarro and Juliette A. Martinez (his granddaughters) also preceded Dad in death. He is survived by his siblings, Julian Navarro, Elba Lucio, and Mine Bernal. He is survived by children and spouses Gilbert and Eleana Navarro, Carlos and Renee Navarro, Rose and Tony Hernandez, and his children Guadalupe Navarro, Grace Fernandez, Rebecca Navarro and Martha Navarro; He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and good friends.
