Gilberto Quesada Jr. was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 1, 1965 to parents Gilberto and Margarita Quesada. Gilberto entered into eternal rest on October 24, 2025 at the age of 60. Gilberto is preceded in death by his father; Gilberto Quesada Sr., mother; Margarita Zambrano, spouse; Beatriz Quesada, brother; Ignacio, and sisters; Beatriz, and Maria Guadalupe. Gilberto is survived by his son; Gilberto Quesada III, daughters; Jennifer, Elizabeth, and Arlene. Brothers; Gerardo, Hector, and Jesse. Sisters; Gloria, Teresita, and Patricia. Grandchildren; Jenice, Jaylynn, Renee, Aubree, Elliee, Lily, Jimmy III, and Eli. Gilberto was married for over 18 wonderful years to Beatriz. Many of his hobbies included dancing, karaoke, listing to classic rock, oldies, and Tejano. You could always find Gilberto watching his two favorite teams, the San Antonio Spurs, and of course his all time favorite the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gilberto loved his outstand gardening, and planting his trees. Gilberto was an amazing manager to everyone for over 15 years at Bonanza. He spent most of his time there, enjoying time with his colleagues. One of many interests that Gilberto had was playing his harmonica. Everyone who knew Gilberto knew, he always enjoyed playing his harmonica. He was a loving father of four, the best father, always showed loved to everyone, and more importantly always had Christ in his heart. Please come and join the family of Gilberto Quesada Jr. as we gather to honor and pay tribute to a wonderful father and beautiful life lived. Services are as follows:

Wednesday - November 5, 2025: Visitation 4-8pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, with a rosary being recited at 6:30pm by St. Mary Magdalen Church clergy, Deacon Edgar Lozano.

Thursday - November 6, 2025: Visitation 8-9am at Texas Funeral Home Chapel. We will be departing at 9:15am to St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church for a 10:00am Mass. Graveside services will be at San Fernando Cemetery # 2 following the 10:00am Mass.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE LED BY POLICE ESCORTS IN VEHICLE PROCESSION.
