Gina K. Barley, 54, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 14, 2024, at home. She was born in Newport, Rhode Island on November 23, 1969, to Michael L. Barley, Sr. and Janet (May) Barley. Gina attended Martinsville schools and spent several years as a cashier at various places. She worked at Casey’s in Mooresville for several years and most recently at Long’s Bakery in Indianapolis. 

Gina was an excellent cook with her biscuits and gravy being a family favorite. She cherished the memories of canning with her dad for many years. Gina enjoyed listening to country music, working jigsaw puzzles, tent camping, and mushroom hunting. She was happiest when spending time with her family and friends. She loved them all, and that love was reciprocated. 

Survivors include her mother, Janet Barley; nephew, Justin Barley; great-nephews, Lane and Brodi; great-niece, Oakleigh; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Gina is preceded in death by her father, Michael L. Barley, Sr.; brother, Michael L. “Buddy” Barley; paternal grandparents, Roscoe Barley and Azalee (Douglas) Masten; and maternal grandparents, John E. May l and Julia A. (Cherry) Remster. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon in the chapel at Carlisle -Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon. Gina’s earthly remains will be cremated after the service.
