Beloved wife of Michael F. Kankiewicz; devoted father of Michael L. (Merry Jeffers) Kankiewicz, Marie (James) Conti; cherished grandmother of Shana (Joe) Conza, James (Sara) Conti, and Thomas (Breanne) Conti; loving great-grandmother of Georgia Conza, Jacob, Lucas, and Scarlett Conti; dear sister of the late Mario (late Joan) Celli. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst (near Eggert Rd.) on Thursday from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning in St. Leo the Great Church, 885 Sweet Home Rd., Amherst, NY at 9:15 AM. Please assemble at Church. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo. Condolences may be placed at www.lombardofuneralhome.com.

I used to visit Gina and Mike with Landmark and I became very close with them. I looked forward to every visit and in fact, Gina said once to me, I think if you were younger, we would been wonderful friends. I thought that was funny because I had already considered her a friend. She was such a lovely, intelligent woman. my prayers are with Mike and your family. Sincerely, Katie Wirth.
