Gina Marlene McConihay, age 51 of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, formerly of Arkadelphia passed away on June 29, 2024. She was born on June 14, 1973 in Savannah, Georgia to Carl Wayne and Frances Stella (Rogers) Plyler.
Gina really enjoyed her career in the medical office field, spending the last 12 years of her career as Billing Manager at Area Agency on Aging. Gina has always had a very creative touch with hobbies that included painting, and many different crafts. Gina has always been the go-to person when it came to preparing a baby shower or birthday party for relatives and friends alike. She really loved working on projects in the home with a real knack for designing and decorating around the house. Her greatest and proudest activities involved her six grandchildren.
Gina was predeceased by her parents, her identical twin sister Tina Patterson, her sister Rhonda Mitchell, her brother Jim Plyler; her paternal grandparents Alonzo Carl and Annie Plyler; her maternal grandparents Frank and Lottie Rogers.
Survivors include her husband of twenty years Shawn McConihay; daughters Megan Wilson Lowman of Little Rock and Kara (Dylan) Walker of Arkadelphia; sons Travis (Mary) McConihay of Benton and Ryan (Frida) McConihay of Stockholm, Sweden; six grandchildren: Grayson Lowman, Paislee and Preslee Walker, Aubree Jackson, Hadley McConihay, and Julian McConihay; her brother Randy (Amanda) Plyler, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 1pm Friday, July 5th at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia, with services following at 2pm. Bro. Nathan Rogers will be officiating.
