Ginette "GiGi" Eldridge

Ginette "GiGi' Eldridge, 75 passed away after a short illness at Cape Cod Hospital. Born in Quebec Canada, she moved to Easthampton at a young age. She was a former communicant of Notre Dame Church and attended grade school there. She was a Nurse's Aide and Candy Striper at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and later became a Nurse's Aide for 20 years at the Easthampton infirmary run by her parents Paul and Rita Racine. GiGi then went on to work with special needs people at Nonotuck Resource Associates, a lunch lady at White Brook Middle School where she retired from in 2009. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, knitting, playing cards, playing pool, dancing and enjoyed a good fuzzy navel. She was the life of the party, hosting the best Halloween costume parties. When her children were young, she was the President of the PTO at Ryan Road School where she organized many field trips and school functions. She leaves her beloved husband of 35 years David Eldridge, her daughter Lisa and husband Donald Smith of Florence, her son Todd and his wife Judy Tomasauckas of Florida, her beloved grandchildren Alaina Smith and Kayla Rogers, her former husband Raymond Tomasauckas of Goshen, her brother Jacque Racine of Holyoke Soldiers Home and her best friend Roberta "Bobi" Kennedy. She was predeceased by her brother Denis Racine.

Calling hours will be Saturday August 27, 2022 from 2-4PM at Boucher – O'Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant St, Easthampton.
