Ginger Lee Cousins, 75, of Oakley, died Friday, November 7, 2025. She was born on May 13, 1950, in Norton, KS, to Earl and Evelyn (Martin) Kinne. Ginger married Simon Cousins on March 5, 1970. She enjoyed her pets, attending church and taking part in church activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Simon Cousins; son Marvin Cousins; and sister Bonnie Deitsch.
Ginger is survived by her children, Wesley “Wes” Cousins, of Wichita, KS and William “Bill” and Wendy Cousins, of Hoxie, KS; grandchildren, Naomi Sowell, Jacob Jordan, Amber Jordan, Kody Cousins and Alexandria Cousins; five great grandchildren; siblings, Peggy Sitzman, Edgar Kinne, Bryan Kinne, Lelia Kinne, Verlie Young, Roger Kinne, Howard Kinne, Kenneth Kinne, Ricky Kinne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m. with the funeral at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2025, at Baalmann Mortuary- Oakley. Burial will take place in the Oakley City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the United Christian Church and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701. For information or to leave online condolences visit baalmannmortuary.com
