Ginger Robison Gonder, age 49, passed away on April 17, 2025, in Provo, Utah after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Ginger was born in Fillmore, Utah, on July 16, 1975, to Lloyd Phill and Pamela Kesler Robison. She grew up in Meadow, Utah. She graduated from Millard High School in 1993. She continued her education earning a Medical Secretary Certification from Southern Utah University.
Ginger married Shawn Gonder on August 2, 1996 in the St. George Temple. Their children Tanner, Brayden and Tennille were the love of her life along with her two daughters-in-law. In February, she was thrilled to welcome her first grandson, Colten, into the family.
Ginger was always on the road taking her children to soccer and volleyball practices in Utah and Salt Lake Counties. Even better was attending their games and tournaments in many different states. Ginger took pride in her yard. It was always well designed and mowed to perfection.
During the week, Ginger could be found teaching PE to the students at Delta South Elementary, from Kindergarten to Second Grade. She knew all the kids by name and was their favorite teacher. She enjoyed playing volleyball, basketball and pickleball. Ginger ran track at Millard High School and held the school record in the 1600 and 3200 meter for several years.
Ginger was loved by everyone who knew her. She was the best mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.
Ginger is survived by her husband: Shawn Gonder; children: Tanner (Brittany) Gonder, Brayden (Brooke) Gonder, Tennille Gonder; and grandson: Colten; parents: Lloyd and Pam Robison; siblings: Darcy (Kevin) Rees, Spencer (Tiffani) Robison, Gordon (Holly) Robison, Kent (Marlies) Robison, Brad (Heather) Robison.
Funeral Services were on Saturday, April 26, at 11:00 am, at the Oak City LDS Chapel, 35 Center Street. Viewings were held at the Oak City LDS Church on Friday evening, 6:00-8:00 pm; and Saturday, 9:30-10:40 am, prior to the service. Those unable to attend are invited to view the recorded video of the service. Burial was be in the Oak City Cemetery.
