Not sure what to say?

My path through school would not have been the same without Mrs. Zappin. Class of 2003 5th grade at Sharpsburg Elementary. I always found myself in trouble but thanks to her never giving up on me, I realized there was a better way to handle things. Lately I have thought about her a couple times and randomly Google her to see if I could find her. I had no idea she passed and this one stinks. Heaven gained a true molder of children's hearts. She was a beautiful soul and will be missed.

Mrs Zappin was my 5th grade teacher my last year in Norwood. I will never forget her. She was amazing!! Can't believe I never got to thank her

God bless Mrs. Zappin and her family. She was my my favorite teacher and I will never forget her. She was an absolute treasure and I have so many wonderful memories of her 5th grade classroom. What an amazing lady who gave so much of herself to others

Stan and family, so sorry to hear.
Ginger and I had a lot of early morning conversation at Sharpsburg Elementary, they usually either started, or finished about family, hers or mine.

I am so sorry to hear of this. I had Mrs Zappin in the 5th grade back in the late 70's. She was there for me when I lost my father just 8 days before Christmas. I will never forget her kindness. I hope my son has teachers like her through out his childhood in school. She will be greatly missed.

Rick and I were so sorry to read about Ginger's passing. We too, have very fond memories of our early years in Pleasant Ridge, lots of little kids running around our back yards! Ginger was a role model for me, as I was a new mom and she had two adorable little boys already. She was a fabulous mom, enjoyed every minute of her time with them, it seemed. Passed down the cutest boy clothes ever!
Even though we lost contact, I'll never forget the sweet, innocent days of raising our kids...

Remembering fun times on Ridgecliffe Avenue when we had block parties and celebrated Fourth of July in your backyard with fireworks for the kids. Thinking of your family at this time of loss. Sandy (Altman) Uhrig

Stan, I am very sorry to hear about Ginger. Sweet memories of both of you many years ago.
You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.

what a fabulous lady we have lost. All my love to Bruce & family love,Cissy
