Ginny Kaye Mayo (Cook, Reed), 62, of Marion, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025. She was born on March 26, 1963, in Wilmington, Ohio. Ginny was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness, creativity, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Ginny is survived by her devoted husband, Joel E. Mayo; her beloved children, Ashley M. Cook, and Roger W. Reed and his spouse, Monica; and her twelve beautiful grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her siblings, Dale G. Cook and Gigi Ford (Cook). Ginny cherished her family deeply and embraced every moment spent with them.
Creative by nature, Ginny built her own successful craft business and found great happiness in sewing handmade doll clothes. She loved traveling to craft shows, sharing her work, and connecting with others who appreciated her talent and warmth.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, December 1, at 11:00 a.m. at Richland Road Church of Christ, located at 535 Richland Rd., Marion, Ohio 43302. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and honor the beautiful life she lived.
