Gino Mozzi Obituary

Gino Angelo Mozzi, 81 of Pittsfield, MA died Tuesday December 16, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Pittsfield, MA on October 1, 1944, a son of Gino R. and Margaret (Masengo) Mozzi. He graduated from Pittsfield High School with the class of 1962 and attended Berkshire Community College.

Gino served in the US Coast Guard and the Coast Guard Reserves.

He worked for many years at General Electric Co and its successor companies until his retirement from General Dynamics. He enjoyed many trips to the casino and family vacations when his boys were growing up. Gino also enjoyed his daily trips for coffee at Market32 where he would "hold court" with his friends. He loved to spend time with family including his children, grandchildren and his beloved granddogs Oreo and Mocha.

Gino will always be remembered for his heart of gold, his sense of humor and his willingness to lend a hand to family, friends and neighbors.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Barbara Ann (Benjamin) Mozzi, whom he married on June 5, 1971 and two sons, Michael P. Mozzi and Mark D. Mozzi (Candace), both of Pittsfield, MA. He also leaves two grandchildren, Olivia Mozzi and Aidan Coco.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Gino Mozzi will be Monday December 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA celebrated by Monsignor Michael Shershanovich. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday December 21st from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
