Giuseppina Acciardo

87, of Providence, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at HopeHospice and Palliative Care, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Alberto Acciardo. Born in Caianello Caserta, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Mario and Adelina Laurenza. Giuseppina was a machine operator for many years at Colonial Knife Company. Along with her work at Colonial knife, Giuseppina was an amazing gardner and took great pride in her homegrown vegetables and beautiful rose garden. She was her happiest when she was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Giuseppina is survived by her loving children: Elvira Martin and her husband David of Johnston, Antonietta Iorio and her husband Enzo of Cranston; cherished grandchildren: Angelica Costa and her husband Jason, Michelle Iorio, David Martin and Massimo Iorio and his girlfriend Leah Drolet, great grandchildren: Milania and Ashton Costa. She was also the dear sister of : Serafino and Alfonso and the late Gennaro, Angelina, Maria, Francesco, Neolino, Concetta Laurenza of Italy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours on Friday morning, 9- 10 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Chrisitan Burial at 11 am in St. Bartholomew's Church, Providence. Entombment will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
