Gladys Beck Obituary
Gladys was born on February 28, 1929, to the late Lester and Nettie (Douthit) Clontz, in Reynoldsville, PA.
Gladys married John D. Beck on March 7, 1947, he preceded her in passing on May 7, 1973.
She was Methodist by faith and was a member of the Reynoldsville First Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Gladys also loved spending time with her family.
Gladys is survived by three children: Susan (William) Bowlby, Edward (Cheryl) Beck, Jacqueline Dixon; six grandchildren: Shannon Bowlby, Corey (Jonelle) Bowlby, Mandy (Michael) Johnson, Emily (Brian Reshore) Beck, David (Ciera) Dixon, Alyssa (Michael) Manners; and three great-grandchildren: Cecilia Bowlby, Michael Manners Jr., Dakota Dixon.
In accordance with her wishes, everything will be held privately to the family. Interment will be held at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Jefferson County, PA.
Services have been entrusted to the Snyder – d'Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851.

Dear Susie and Diane, I met all of you back in 1966 when we moved here and rented off your family. We didn´t see your Dad much but come to know the rest of you. Your mom was such a wonderful person to all that knew her. Please know I will be praying for your family. God Bless!

Years ago my husband Michael and I rented and lived in a trailer that was located on the lower portion of your Mom and Dad's property on East Main Street. They were both very special people. My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your Mother Gladys.
