Gladys Mathews Obituary
She was born September 19, 1936, in Pine Bluff, to Victor and Dorothy Griffin Logan.
She graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1956 and had worked at Sunbeam Bakery, Pine Bluff Nursing Home and Trotter Ford.
She attended First Assembly of God and loved her family.
She was preceded in death her husband, Robert Joseph "Bobby" Mathews, whom she married On March 10, 1961, in Pine Bluff; her parents; a grandchild, Heather Grimes-Barringer; brothers, Raymond Logan, and Gaylan "Bubba" Lemley.
Survivors include her children, Robert J. "Joey" Mathews, Jr. (Vicki), Teri Mathews-Ezell (Joe), and Jeffery Mathews (Malette); grandchildren, Tyler Mathews, Seth Hughes, Justin Mathews, David Grimes (Jen), Zach Kimsey (Kristiana), Amber Cowden (Stacy), Taylor Miller (Catilyn), Victor Harmon (Keyla); forty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and sisters, Gaila Lemley and Marsha Jamison.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 18, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Chapel with Reverend Pat Hart officiating.
Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
