Gladys SMITH Obituary
67, of Richmond, Va., departed this life on November 20, 2011. She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Lisa Knight (Joseph); two grandchildren, Devon Smith and Dominique Staton; one great-grandchild, Dejon Smith; sister, Anna Walker; two nephews, Neal and Brent (Rolanda) Walker; a great-niece, Breona Walker; two special friends, McArthur Smith and Teoshi Lancaster; and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held on Friday, November 25 from 12 noon to 8 p.m., and where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm. Funeral service, 1 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 8775 Mt. Olive Ave., Glen Allen, Va. Rev. Darryl G. Thompson, officiating. Rev. Patricia Ellis, eulogist. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Gladys will surely be missed at Manor Care, she was a great nurse and a very good friend,I truly will miss seeing her every other weekend ,and helping me with bingo every monday in the leeroom.Lisa my prayers are with you.GOD BLESS YOU!

Lisa, you have my deepest sympathy on the death of your mom. I know how important she was in your life and your care and support during these last few years must have brought her great comfort.
