It is with sadness we announce the transition of Gladys E. Travis, age 83, of Cincinnati, Ohio, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 21, 2023, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on September 17, 1939, in Crawfordville, Georgia.
Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Golden Leaf Baptist, 5910 Argus Road, Cincinnati (45224). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.

I´ve known Gladys since the Fernside days of Golden Leaf Baptist Church. She was always smiling. Will miss our talks. Praying for the entire family.

Momma, I´m going to miss everyone about you! Your laugh, your cooking, our mother daughter talks. I feel so lost without you. Not being able to pick up the phone to hear your voice. I´m struggling soo bad momma. But, I know that you are resting in the Fathers arms and you get to see your mother again. It hurts alot momma and I´ll never be the same without you!
