Glen Dale Bentley, age 62 of Beaver, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 at his residence. He was born March 5, 1961 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Geraldine Hall Bentley of Beaver, Kentucky and the late Ornell "Jam Up" Bentley. He was the husband of Barbara Lynn Mullins Bentley. He was a disabled coal miner and member of Little Nancy Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with his wife and mother he is survived by his Sons: Joshua Brandon (Tiffany) Bentley of McRoberts, Kentucky & Justin Keith (Deanna) Bentley of Beaver, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Haley Bentley, Alice Bentley & Rhett Bentley; Brothers: Travis (Polly) Bentley & David (Margaret) Bentley both of Beaver, Kentucky; Sister: Ginger Slone of Price, Kentucky; Loved Like a Brother: Emitt (Anita) Hall of Hi Hat, Kentucky. Along with his father he was preceded in death by his sister: Janice Parsons. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 6pm at the church and will continue all day Wednesday, September 20, 2023 with nightly services at 6:30pm
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 12 noon at Little Nancy Old Regular Baptist Church, Hi Hat, Kentucky with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating
Burial will follow at Family Cemetery, Beaver, Kentucky
