Glen Bruce Bonser of Sparta, Michigan, age 57, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, May 27th, 2024. He was born to David and Hazel (Clapp) Bonser on August 13th, 1966, in Grand Rapids, MI.
Glen was the best Husband, Dad, Papa, Uncle, Brother and friend. Life will be forever changed. He was our Rock. Our biggest supporter, Our Racer, Camping buddy, Petrolina enthusiast, Our Waylon Jennings Rockstar.
Glen is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Lori Ann Bonser; children, Annalicia (Andrew) Barnum, Pricilla Bonser, and David Bonser; siblings, Deb (Rick) Taylor, Dawn (Clay) Basler, Sharon Bonser, and Sandy (Jim) Asposito; grandchildren, Jahnylah, Aaliyah, Lailah, Zariyah, Elijah, Storm, and Hazeleigh; and many more family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by both parents, David and Hazel; and brother, Tim Bonser.
There will be a time of public visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30th, 2024, at Sparta United Methodist Church, 54 E Division St, Sparta, MI 49345. The funeral service will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation. A private burial will take place at Algoma Township Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to Gift of Life Michigan, 3861 Research Park Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
