Glen Byrd Obituary

Glen worked for Coleman Dairy for many years, and because he loved working outdoors, he started a lawn business. He served in the National Guard. Glen loved to do woodwork and built a lot of things. He also loved going to auctions, flea markets and antique stores. Glen was a member of Shannon Road Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Ellison Byrd; two daughters, Regina Stanley (Mike) and Melanie Bradley (Tom); five stepchildren, Steve Cox (Donna), Vanessa Jensen, Marla Mitchell (Gerald), Janet Stuckey (Wayne) and Brooke Flumm (Justin); 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Shannon Road Baptist Church. Bro. Gene Triplett and Bro. Mike Stanley will officiate. Burial will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time Thursday at the church.
