Mark Fallis, age 63, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2025, while he was surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born January 26, 1962, in Sacramento, CA, he was the son of the late George Merritt Fallis and Theresa Ann Brown Fallis. After living in several locations where his father served in the US Air Force, he moved to the Watson Chapel area and graduated from Watson Chapel High School in 1980. He studied Fire Science and HVAC at SeArk College.

Mark had a true servant's heart. He was a deacon and head of maintenance at Watson Chapel Baptist Church for approximately 30 years. He would help anyone who came to him for help with whatever they needed.

From January 1986 until his retirement as Captain in January 2021, he faithfully served with the Pine Bluff Fire Department. He was trained in advanced emergency situations.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jinnie Ashcraft Fallis, whom he married on June 8, 1979; two sons, Mark P. Fallis (Shanna) and Johnathan Fallis; a sister, Vicki Turner (Lee); five grandchildren, Caleb Pursell, Christopher Fallis, Tenleigh Grace Fallis, Jace Fallis, and Cayden Fallis; one great-granddaughter, Remi Blake Pursell; and a bonus daughter, Ashley Keen Fallis.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 28, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Watson Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will be in Brown Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. also at Watson Chapel Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to Watson Chapel Baptist Church, 5514 Pinnacle Lane, Pine Bluff, AR 71603.
