Morris Henry Levine, affectionately known as Mo or simply MH, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of his devoted family and friends. His passing marked the close of a journey with dementia - a path he walked with his ever-present sense of humor, quiet strength, and love for his wife and family.

Born on February 20, 1941, MH was eagerly and lovingly adopted by Jake and Henrietta Levine. From the start, his life was filled with love, encouragement, kindness, and generosity and those traits never left him.

As a young man, MH was a gifted athlete who excelled in many sports, though football was his greatest passion. He played for the Gabe Meyer Bulldogs, the Pine Bluff Zebras, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. One of his proudest achievements was being named to the Arkansas All-State football team. His love for the Razorbacks never waned, and "Pig Sooie!" was a cheer he carried with him all his life.

After college, MH married Susan Banks (now Board), proudly served in the United States Air

Force, and began building a career and family. His most cherished role, however, was being a father. He often said that his greatest accomplishments were always his daughters.

MH was also deeply committed to his community, leading with compassion and integrity. He served in leadership roles at Jewish Family and Children Services in Jacksonville, Neighbor-to-Neighbor in Pine Bluff, and Jewish Family Services of San Antonio. For him, giving back was not just important - it was a way of life.

Education held a special place in his heart as well, and at the age of 70 he earned his Master of Business Administration, proving that learning and growth never have to end.

Above all, MH was a man devoted to family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Natalie

Berkman; by his daughters, Lisa Levine, Kirah McIntosh (Duncan), Beth Levine, Amy Levine-Reagin, Lauri Berkman, and Cindy Berkman (Michael Szatny); and by his granddaughter, Molly Reagin, who brought him immense pride and happiness. He was pre-deceased by his son- in-law Michael and his brother-in-law Alan.

MH himself once reflected on the many blessings in his life, a list he lovingly shared with his daughter Kirah. Among them: being adopted by wonderful parents and enjoying a childhood filled with friends; the companionship of great pets throughout the years; making Arkansas All-State in football; earning a scholarship to and graduating from the University of Arkansas; serving as an officer in the U.S. Air Force; marrying Susan; adopting his daughter and raising his children; the many jobs and experiences that shaped his career; and later, moving to San Antonio and marrying Natalie. These were, in his own words, the joys and gifts that defined his journey.

To know MH was to know someone who listened deeply, loved freely, and always found joy in life's simple moments. Even as dementia slowly took parts of his memory, his humor, gentleness, and spirit remained a constant source of light to those who loved him.

He is mourned deeply and missed dearly, but his legacy will continue in the stories shared, the lives he touched, and the love he left behind.

A celebration of MH's life will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2025, 11:00 a.m. in the Jewish Cemetery at Pine Bluff with Rabbi Barry Block officiating. Services are by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Neighbor-to-Neighbor, 1419 S. Pine Street, Pine Bluff, AR 71601.

Rest well, MH. You were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten.

I met MH when we were both in the Kiwanis Club of Pine Bluff and he worked for Neighbor-to-Neighbor. I believe MH was active in every civic club in Pine Bluff. We volunteered together in the concession stand at the Pine Bluff Convention Center for the Kiwanis Club during ballgames and other special events. MH was a very interesting person had a lot of good stories to tell. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
