Glen Wallace Fricks was born in Chidester Arkansas July 25, 1957, the baby boy of 6 children to the union of Lee Edward Fricks and Bennie C. Box Fricks.

Glen departed this life on June 7, 2025, at his Chidester home with his Brother James Allen Fricks and Cousin Patricia (Pat) Morgan at his side.

Glen was raised in Chidester, Arkansas where he attended Pleasant Hill Elementary School and Chidester high School after integration. Glen remained and worked in the Chidester area. Some family members left the Chidester area to live and work but Glen remained home until God was ready for his child to come home. Glen worked in the wood industry sometimes called the pulpwood business with his father Lee Edward Fricks, cousins Clinton and Charles Marks. Everyone that knew Glen knew he had a good story and sometimes a few to tell because he had some good ones. Glen loved his family and friends just as well as he loved fishing with his side kick Patricia (Pat) Morgan and Cheryl Graham. Glen took pride in keeping his lawn and property looking good.

Glen was preceded by his Paternal grandparents Cleveland Fricks and Jimmie Amos Fricks and Maternal Grandparents Leonard and Pearlie Jenkins Box, two Brothers Willliam Garland Fricks, Sr.; Lawrence Fricks and one Sister Loretta Fricks

Glen leaves to cherish his memories, a bonus son Randall Sockwell; Brother James Allen Fricks of Chidester; four sisters Virginia (Henry) L Prunty of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Shari Holliman and Ruthie Purifoy of Camden Arkansas and Vivian (Bruce) Henderson of Cleveland Ohio. He has Dear Special Friend Terri Haynie and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The Life of Glen was a good soul leaving all of us with one or a few stories to tell!

Rest well Glen
