GLEN DALE GRAVES, AGE 83
And a lifelong resident of the Hays Creek Community passed away early Saturday morning August 17, 2024 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was born on December 28, 1940 and was a graduate of Franklinton High School, where he was a proud member of the F.H.S. Demon Band. Glen was retired as a supervisor after a long career with Dairyman, Inc. He always loved farming and taking care of his cows. Glen enjoyed watching old Western TV shows and movies. He was a longtime active member of Hays Creek Southern Baptist Church.

Wife of 59 years: Sylvia Brumfield Graves of Hays Creek
Daughter and Son in law: Misty and John Wyble of Franklinton
Son: Gregory Glen Graves of Hays Creek
3 Grandchildren: Nick and Linda Wyble of Fort Walton Beach, FL,
Alex Chrisann Wyble,
Jarrett Wyble both of Franklinton
3 Great-grandchildren: Gianna, Giselle, and Garrett Wyble
Brother and Sister in law: Buddy and Mary Sue Graves of Hays Creek
Sisters in law: Emma Graves,
Claire Graves
Also numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Jasper and Jesse Graves, brothers Thomas Loyd Graves, Carey Lester Graves, father in law and mother in law Louis L. Brumfield and Ina Wood Brumfield.
Visitation will be at Hays Creek Baptist Church (29043 W. Hayes Creek Road, Franklinton) on Saturday August 24th from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 1:00 pm Saturday with Rev. Frederick Brumfield and Rev. Ronnie Chaisson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
