Glen Grossnickle passed to his Heavenly home on October 28, 2025 in Granbury, Texas. Glen was born on March 31, 1944 in Brownsville, Texas to Dale Lee Grossnickle and Verna Fletcher.
Glen was a 3rd generation native Texan and lifelong fan of the Texas Longhorns. He loved sports, especially coaching young kids, music and being on the boat.
Glen is survived by his wife of 56 years Carol; daughters - Laura Bodine and husband Steve (Ralph), Kerie Griggs and husband Scott, June Whitehead and husband Bryan; sons - Doug and partner, Christel Womach, Brad Tyus and wife Amanda, and dog Sadie; sister – Lynne Milliken; nephew - John Shannon and wife Heidi; grandchildren - Aaliyah Grossnickle, Andrew Griggs, Jenna Tyus, Connor Griggs, Austin Tyus, Avery Griggs; grand fur-babies - Shelbie and Jasper Bodine, Bailey Griggs, Duke and Munchkin Tyus, Luna and Lily Whitehead.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at the Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Acton Cemetery, Granbury, Texas beginning at 2:00 PM (immediately after the visitation).
