Born and raised in Graceville, Allen attended Graceville High School and went on to become a skilled master brick mason, a trade he proudly practiced until his retirement. He was known for his love of fishing and the joy he found in spending time with his family. Allen was a member of Harmony Baptist Mission in Graceville.
He was preceded in death by his father Glen Donald Pickron, mother Allie Corbin Jenkins, two grandsons Brantley, Keith, and sister Glenda Pickron Croft.
Allen is survived by son Russell "Rusty" Pickron (Gwen); daughter Anna Pickron; nine grandchildren Lexi, Allyann, Avery, JD, Connell, Ean, Cassandra, Ashton, Brandon, bonus mom Donna Pickron, sister Teresa Taylor, special aunt Beth Stacey, the mother of his children, Tina Golden Pickron (Carl), and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 13, at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home, with Rev. Raymond O'Quinn officiating.
Visitation will be, Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the service.
