Glenda Daniel Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary, LA on Dec. 9, 2025.
Glenda Morse Daniel, 69, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025. Born on April 2, 1956, Glenda was a lifelong resident of St. Francisville, LA and lived a life defined by devotion, integrity, and a deep love for her family and community. For 48 years, she was married to her high school sweetheart, Robert Daniel-a partnership marked by unwavering love and shared purpose. Together, they built a life rooted in commitment and family, and Glenda's greatest joy was being a devoted mother to their son, Alden Daniel. Her heart was forever intertwined with motherhood, and she cherished her involvement in Alden's schools and activities, forming countless friendships and meaningful connections along the way. Glenda was an active member of P.E.O. International for almost 2 decades. Glenda was truly one of a kind-warm, resilient, and endlessly generous. She spent nearly 20 years working at Hesse & Butterworth in the paralegal field before discovering her passion for real estate. With determination and entrepreneurial spirit, she founded Daniel & Daniel Properties. Her success was defined not only by her business achievements but also by the kindness, trust, and lasting relationships she cultivated with clients and colleagues. Glenda poured her heart into shaping the company into a true family business, one built to carry forward a legacy for generations to come.

Glenda's true and greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, Jude and Lilly Daniel. Being their "Gigi" was her whole world. She dedicated her time to them with unmistakable love-sharing the word of Jesus, searching for alligator sightings, enjoying sleepovers, and embarking on countless adventures together. Her presence filled their lives with wonder, comfort, and faith. She is survived by her husband, Robert Daniel; son, Alden Daniel (Caitlin) and her two grandchildren, Jude and Lilly Daniel; her sister, Lillian Deville (Terry); brother, Edward Morse; brother, John Morse (Paulette). She was preceded in death by her parents James Oval Morse and Toyo Saito Morse; brother, Thomas Morse (Mary); brother, James Morse; sister, Ethel Faye; and infant granddaughter Sarah Margaret Daniel. Glenda leaves behind many nephews, nieces and extended family that loved her beyond words. A celebration of Glenda's life will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Visitation held from 9:00-11:00am at St. Francisville Baptist Church, with service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Reception to follow at St. Francisville Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Maddie's Footprints. Pallbearers are her nephews, Benjamin Morse, Lance Morse, Michael Daigrepont, Jay Ivy, Austin Daniel and Tyler Daniel. Honorary pallbearers are Jude Daniel, Jordan Wax, Benjamin Priddy, Daniel Morse, Mac Morse, Price Mounger and Ahmad Scott. She will be remembered for her strength, her compassion, and the grace with which she touched the lives of so many. Glenda's love for her family, her work, her community and the Lord will remain an enduring light in the hearts of all who knew her.
