I became friends with Glenda only through e-mails by virtue of the fact that my dog and her dog are brother and sister. We had corresponded over the years, trading pictures and stories about life and our dogs and had even spoken on the phone a few times. She usually sent me e-mail cards at Thanksgiving, Christmas and other assorted holidays, and I did likewise. This year, I was going to send her a photo Christmas card through the mail, and I contacted her by email and did not have a reply. Also sent her a photo Christmas email card and did not receive one from her, so then started to really worry. This is when I found her obituary, today, on Christmas Day of all days. I am so very sad to learn of her passing. She was a dear lady and friend, although we had never met in person. I do hope Claire went to a good home!

Glenda and Paul came into our lives when our daughter Kara, met Drew. When, my wife and I would come down to OKC to visit Kara, Drew and family, it was always special, as we also looked forward to joining up, and having an enjoyable visit with Glenda and Paul. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent together during those visits. We would talk, laugh and share stories with one another. However, the visits from Glenda and Paul slowly diminished, over time, due to health problems.
Now in our visits, both are in our memories and the time we had spent together!
Rest well dear friends!
Love, Kathy and Bob Klewchuk

Glenda's giving and compassionate presence with us will be greatly missed. We have family photos of she and Paul (Drew) that we cherish to look at. Our once large extended family is spread out now and we rarely see each other like we used to. Although we cannot be with you (Drew) during this time due to health issues, our thoughts and prayers have been/and will be with you.
Our Deepest Sympathy.

May God give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. We were neighbors when we were in school and I know she will be missed. She was such a sweet person. My prayers for you all. Love you all.
